Re: SUPPORT FOR TRANSBAY PROJECT AND CALTRAIN EXTENSION EIR

Dear Supervisors:

I am alarmed that you will hear a request to de-certify the Transbay Terminal Environmental Impact Report. I ride Caltrain every day (describe your commute, i.e. “from Hillsdale to San Francisco” or “from North Beach to San Carlos”) I cannot believe that one private project might cause the extension to be abandoned. There is no reason to de-certify the EIR.

I support Caltrain and the people who have worked for years to get it built. Please reject the request to scrap the hard work and public funds that have been already invested in the Caltrain extension and send a message that one building cannot hold this important project hostage.

Sincerely,
